Cierra Richardson is a graduate of Florida A&M University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Broadcast Journalism.

Her passion for storytelling and producing is dear to her heart and allows her to enrich others and spread their story.

She served as the associate producer and anchor for FAMU News20 at Five, a live student-produced newscast creating packages, editing and shooting various stories. 

​

Cierra has covered stories in regards to Hurricane Michael which earned her the 2018 Florida Associated Press Broadcasters Award for Best Light Feature | Short Format. She also received the Nefertiti Williams Student Journalist of the Year award for her tenacity in reporting.

She has also published articles for the award-winning FAMUAN newspaper. With this opportunity, she is getting the chance to begin her career in the news industry and take it by storm.
