Cierra Richardson is a graduate of Florida A&M University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Broadcast Journalism.

Her passion for storytelling and producing is dear to her heart and allows her to enrich others and spread their story.

Cierra executive produced Tracing the Roots: The Story of Juneteenth, which earned the 2025 Suncoast Regional Emmy Award for Historical/Cultural – Long Form Content.

The 30-minute special explores the federal holiday commemorating the day enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, learned of their freedom. It also highlights the significance of Florida, reflecting on the state’s path to emancipation. The documentary uncovers untold stories that connect communities and inspire unity.

Cierra has covered impactful stories related to Hurricane Michael, earning the 2018 Florida Associated Press Broadcasters Award for Best Light Feature | Short Format. She also received the Nefertiti Williams Student Journalist of the Year Award at Florida A&M University for her tenacity in reporting.

She also started her brand #CierraRichTV.
